The Coral Beach Resort, a hotel complex located on Praia de Guajiru, on the west coast of Ceará, will invest around R$15 million by 2023 to build two new areas within the resort. They are Clube do Lago and Las Dunas Leisure Area, located at Quadra 40 (Q40) within the development.
This latest addition to the resort’s facilities includes the construction of yet another pool for adults and another for children and an outdoor bar overlooking the Trairi River. In addition, the new space will have private parking, a gazebo, a playground and an open mall square with 515m² and space for 12 stores. In total, the new facilities will have a built area of over 1,155m².
Las Dunas Leisure Area project includes an adult pool with three levels and a children’s pool with two, a large playground, a snack bar and gazebo area with beach beds. This new facility will have a total area of 408.5m².
“This planned investment at The Coral will give the local economy a financial injection,” said Aline Arcanjo, General Manager of The Coral Beach Resort. “We estimate it will create 285 indirect jobs and 80 direct jobs, not to mention other employment as the hotel complex expands.” Arcanjo also highlighted the increase in tourism, which she says “will promote the Trairi area where the resort is located even further”.
