Things are certainly coming along at The Coral. The latest development update for Q3 this year shows that the 5-star resort is making excellent progress. Ocean Lounge beach club welcomes guests every day as do the rental villas. And construction on new apartments and villas continues apace. Read on for the highlights of the last three months.

Fully back on track

Despite the global lockdown due to the pandemic, everything at The Coral is back up and running. Everyone involved is working hard to push the schedule to get back on track as soon as possible.

All business at The Coral is open and operational. They include the administrative and sales offices as well as the beach club and rental villas. Construction is back up to speed on various sites at the resort.

Apartment progress

The first phase of the Loft Apartments is complete. The modern duplex homes with private gardens are located in Quadra 38 and the first rental apartments at The Coral. Six are now on holiday let booking sites and available to rent from 1 November.

Building work on the apartments at Ocean Residences has also started. These two-bedroom apartments in Quadra 7 are expected to take 10 months to complete. Also in a modern design, the homes offer spacious living and have excellent potential for holiday lets. All units in the first block have been sold and those in the second have just been released to investors.

Rental bookings up

The Coral reopened for holiday lets in early July and has seen strong demand for bookings. The resort now has capacity for over 200 guests at the different rental villa options throughout The Coral.

We have seen big interest from Brazilian holidaymakers, keen to book staycations for the forthcoming summer season (December to February) and New Year. Occupancy rates have risen and this together with the additional attraction of Ocean Lounge beach club means we have increased room rates.

The Coral offers natural surroundings in the sunshine and fresh air. Social distancing is easy at the resort for guests and all accommodation provides ample indoor and outdoor space. These factors make it an excellent choice for Brazilian families in the ‘new normal’.

New booking agent

To help investors get the maximum potential from buy-to-let investment at The Coral, we have partnered with Atlantica International. They are the largest hotel chain in Brazil and have taken charge of bookings at the resort.

Atlantica International will manage the promotion of holiday lets at The Coral as well as all reservations. Their track record and reach to the largest travel agents in the country will boost bookings at The Coral even further.

Hotel licence approved

We now have approval for the Radisson Hotel at The Coral from the Trairi authorities. This means we can now go ahead with construction plans. In conjunction with Atlantica and Radisson, we are now finalising the interior design.
