Holidaymakers from Ceará make up most of the bookings at the resort in Flecheiras.
Summer is the season preferred by many for their holidays and leisure time and ranks as the busiest season in tourism. The Coral Beach Resort, a hotel development located near Flecheiras, has just celebrated the success of the latest high season, with an occupancy rate of 100% in the first two months of the year. Commenting on the success of the latest season, Goianésio Lucas, the Director of the Resort said The Coral had offered guests new facilities this summer.
“We have upgraded our facilities at the Ocean Lounge Beach Club and have just opened 10 new villas,” he said. “We invested in improvements to our villas and today most of them have air conditioning in the living room, outdoor hammocks, new garden and front fences, which provide greater privacy for guests”.
In addition, guests enjoy a full leisure programme during their holiday. Entertainment includes a DJ in the pool of its exclusive beach club on weekends, live music on Friday and Saturday nights and children’s recreation
More news is planned for 2022, such as a new club, Las Dunas Oasis, and a kitesurfing school within the hotel complex.
According to data from the reservation center, most of the guests guaranteeing hotel occupancy in this high season are from Ceará itself. One of the factors for this is the proximity to the capital, since the paradisiacal beach of Flecheiras is only 140 km from Fortaleza. However, a good flow of tourists is also expected from São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Brasília, in addition to the other states in the Northeast.
